AGR. DON CAMILLO S.A.R.L.

Established in 2005 from the union of Mantuan producers, Agricola Don Camillo dedicates its work to a single product, the Melone Mantovano IGP, cultivated in the forty-one municipalities of the protected area. The perimeter encompasses the alluvial soils of the Po Valley, loose and fertile lands that impart concentration to the fruit. The denomination sets precise parameters: firm pulp with an amber-salmon color, a minimum sugar content of twelve Brix, and aromas ranging from mushroom to watermelon. The entire company strategy revolves around these characteristics. Direct home delivery is not a logistical detail but part of the project: by shortening the supply chain, the melon arrives close to its ideal ripeness, preserving its integrity and sensory complexity. It is an essential agricultural portrait, in which a recent cooperative has chosen to measure itself not by the variety of labels but by the consistency of a single fruit, interpreted through the rigorous framework of a single geographical indication.
