Agribologna

Agribologna operates from the city that gives its name to the province, within the Romagna fruit belt where the IGP Pesca e Nettarina di Romagna covers fifty-nine lowland municipalities. This area alone generates about a quarter of Italy's protected peaches and nectarines: numbers that speak of an agricultural specialization rather than a niche. Here, quality arises from the combination of the summer heat of the Po Valley and precise irrigation management, the two factors that the disciplinary guidelines presuppose and that the permitted cultivars translate into fruits of controlled standard.
