Agricola Andreassi

In Genzano di Roma, where the Castelli Romani hills slope down towards the Lazio plain, Agricola Andreassi cultivates volcanic soils under the continental sun of the countryside south of the capital. From this terroir, the company's entire range takes shape, gathered under a single denomination, the Roma DOC. The grapes tell two stories of the area: on one hand, Montepulciano and Cesanese, alongside Sangiovese and Cabernet, yield structured reds; on the other, the whites capture the mineral imprint of the hills' temperate microclimates. Each vintage thus becomes an interpretation of the character of this wine territory at the gates of Rome, less known than the major areas but marked by a precise volcanic identity. It is a portfolio that, while operating within a single disciplinary, reflects the variety of exposures, soils, and altitudes that distinguish the Castelli side overlooking the plain, and makes each bottle a portrait of a vintage rather than a repeated formula.
