🏡 Tastings & visitsSicilia IGPSicilia DOC

Founded in 2003 in Marsala, Alcesti cultivates fifty hectares across Marsala, Mazara, and Salemi, in that part of the Trapanese region which boasts the continent's highest viticultural calling. Their work with indigenous grape varieties—Nero d'Avola, Frappato, and accompanying varieties—takes shape in Sicilia DOC, expressed in reds, rosés, and whites that translate the island into a bottle. Alongside wine, the company produces an extra virgin olive oil under Sicilia IGP, recognizable for the green tomato note that defines its profile. Two denominations are enough to paint a complete agricultural portrait, where vines and olive trees coexist on the same soil and under the same light. This isn't superficial diversification: both productions draw from ancient roots and reinterpret them in a contemporary key, without succumbing to the rhetoric of the 'typical'. The winery opens its doors for tastings: those passing through Marsala can sample wines and oil on site, and understand how a single landscape can speak two different languages with the same accent.
