Ascevi Luwa

Ascevi Luwa works with the white wines of Collio Goriziano, the DOC spread across eight municipalities at the northeastern tip of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, where the border merges with the alpine landscape. The repertoire includes the grape varieties that have built the area's reputation—Friulano, Pinot grigio, and Ribolla gialla—alongside the aromatic vein of Traminer. Each variety interprets the limestone-rich soils in its own way, resulting in fresh-cut wines with a distinct saline imprint that seems to respond to the proximity of the mountain range. The selection is not limited to white wines: reds and reserves complete a range built on varietal precision rather than breadth. It is a work of interpreting the territory, measured by the ability to bring out the character of each grape variety without forcing it, restoring the frontier identity of this Friulian strip.
