Az. Agr. Artegiani Veronica

Az. Agr. Artegiani Veronica cultivates Riso Nano Vialone Veronese IGP in the plains south of Verona, where crop rotation and spring water work together to form the semi-hulled grains that distinguish the denomination. It is the most delicate rice variety in Veneto, and the territory preserves its measure. The irrigated plain and the resurgences create an environment built over centuries for rice paddies. The farm is located in Isola della Scala, within the 24 municipalities of the protected area, a narrow perimeter that concentrates knowledge and practices around a single product. Here, cultivation is not a technical detail but the thread of the entire activity, from water management to grain selection. The estate welcomes visitors for tastings and tours: it is worth stopping to taste the rice on site and observe closely the practices that support its quality, following the spring water from the canals to the field.
