Az. Agr. Ca' di Cicul di Salina Carla Cristina
Ca' di Cicul works with a single grape variety, Brachetto, and declares it through its sole denomination: Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG, the control and guarantee mark that, within the 26 municipalities of the area, sets rules for the zone, yield, and vinification. The vineyards are located in Valle Bagnario, in the microclimate of Strevi, on the tufaceous soils of Alto Monferrato where rapid drainage keeps the grapes dry and concentrates their aromatic profile. It is from here that the company derives its sense of territory, a precise corner of the Acquese area rather than a generic label. From the same Brachetto grape, three versions are born, telling different ways of interpreting it: the still red, the spumante, and the passito, each vinified in compliance with the minimum alcohol content of 11.5% stipulated by the regulations. This choice brings together artisanal craftsmanship and the constraints of the denomination, making the aromatic grape the sole thread of the entire production. The visiting location is not indicated: those wishing to visit the winery should contact the company directly in Valle Bagnario.
