Az. Agr. Fratelli Ferro
In the `Asti DOCG` area, which stretches across fifty-one Piedmontese municipalities, `Moscato bianco` and other aromatic white grape varieties find their ideal terrain, where aromaticity is the common thread. Az. Agr. Fratelli Ferro produces a range that goes beyond the customary sweet wine: still whites, `spumante`, and `spumante metodo classico`, each aged for at least one month and brought to a minimum alcohol content of 11.5%. It's a broad interpretation of a single denomination, moving `Asti` beyond the dessert wine cliché towards a more articulated range of styles. The winery opens its doors for direct tastings: a visit allows you to follow, glass after glass, how the same aromatic grape changes its voice from still to sparkling, and to grasp what distinguishes `metodo classico` from traditional `spumante`.
