In Matelica, Filippo Maraviglia oversees four DOCG denominations that encompass the most prized expressions of Marche, both white and red. Verdicchio is the backbone, offered in two aged versions—the Riserva di Matelica and Castelli di Jesi—while reds from Montepulciano and Sangiovese converge in Cònero, and Vernaccia di Serrapetrona brings its sparkling vocation. Just over thirteen hectares are enough to cover a stylistic range rarely united under a single name. Since 2004, the family has refined every stage of fermentation, blending traditional methods with modern techniques, for a production of approximately 30,000 bottles per year, each designed for the table.
