Castel del Monte Bombino Nero DOCGCastel del Monte Nero di Troia Riserva DOCGCastel del Monte Rosso Riserva DOCG

Founded in 1999 along the road leading up to Castel del Monte, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Azienda Agricola Marmo interprets three denominations that all revolve around the same Swabian castle. Under the brands Agricola Marmo and Vandalo, it cultivates the grape varieties of Central Murgia within the protected perimeter of ten municipalities, in Andria. The three DOCG wines tell different stories of the same land: the red reserves — made from Nero di Troia and in the Rosso typology — age for twenty-four months and focus on structure, while Bombino Nero expresses itself as a rosé, more taut and immediate. It's a range that combines power and freshness, without flattening the spectrum to a single style. The proximity to the castle is not just a geographical suggestion: it defines the horizon of a compact territory, where the Murgia's limestone and indigenous grape varieties set the rules. Marmo provides an interpretation faithful to the regulations, attentive to the peculiarities of a restricted and recognizable area.
