AZ. AGR. ORIANO MERCANTE DI ZAZZARINI ADRIANA
Camerano · Province of Ancona · Marche
In Camerano, behind the Cònero mountain, Adriana Zazzarini's winery presents a rare case: four denominations, all of DOCG rank, distributed across the Marche region. Production is certified organic and spans different registers—from the red Cònero, a blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese aged twenty-four months, to Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, offered in both sparkling (spumante) and red versions. The chapter of white wines entrusts its most taut expressions to two Verdicchio Riserva wines, Verdicchio di Matelica and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, each aged eighteen months before release. The 2022 vintage marks a direction towards minimal intervention, even including versions without added sulfites. This is a winery that doesn't hide its work: tastings pair the wines with typical local products, and the doors remain open all year. It's worth a stop to experience, at a single table, four of the highest denominations of Marche.
