Az. Agricola Gamba Gnirega s.s.

Gamba was founded in 2003, when brothers Giovanni, Giuseppe, and Martino Aldrighetti transformed their family's winemaking knowledge into a label within the Valpolicella Classica. The fifteen terraced hectares, situated around 300 meters on the Veronese hills of Marano, are the foundation of everything: from here come the Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes that fuel the two house denominations, both DOCG and linked to the practice of appassimento. These two expressions define the poles of the territory: Amarone, dry and long-lasting, and Recioto, its sweet counterpart, born from the same fruit but from opposite choices during fermentation. The company's work starts with grape quality and a conscious method, producing wines that assert the personality of the place rather than an imposed stylistic signature. The cellar welcomes visits and tastings among the vineyards and in the cellar: a direct way to understand how, from the same appassimento, both a meditation red and a sweet wine are born.
