In Carmiano, in the Lecce hinterland, Az. Agricola Petrelli Giovanni cultivates its vineyards in the Salento area between the Ionian and Adriatic seas. Three generations of family management uphold a tradition built on Negroamaro and other black grape varieties suitable for this corner of Puglia, where the maritime climate dictates the ripening of the grapes. A single denomination, Salice Salentino DOC, guides the entire production, articulated in three versions: red, rosé, and white, all exceeding 12.0% minimum alcohol content. This range, from the lightest to the most intense color, tells the same story of origin, measured by the production specifications and the warm character of the main grape variety.
