AZIENDA AGRAR. RISTE & ANDREOLI
Santa Maria Nuova · Province of Ancona · Marche
Rooted in Santa Maria Nuova, in the province of Ancona, Azienda Agrar. Riste & Andreoli spans four of the most recognized DOCG areas in Marche. Their range brings together distinct expressions: Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, where a black grape gives rise to sparkling and red wines; the age-worthy Montepulciano del Cònero blends; and two Verdicchio Riserva wines, from Matelica and Castelli di Jesi. Each expression undergoes a minimum aging period ranging from eighteen to twenty-four months, a constraint that moves these wines away from immediate consumption and pushes them towards stratification. It's a demanding protocol, requiring patience for both whites and reds, and transforming the indigenous Marche grape varieties into measured products of real substance rather than mere appearance. The winery does not receive visitors: its geography—four territories, a single criterion of rigor—is read in the bottles, not in a tasting room.
