AZIENDA AGRICOLA CASA DI BAAL DI CORRADO ANNA MARIA
Montecorvino Rovella · Province of Salerno · Campania
In Montecorvino Rovella, in the Salerno area, Casa di Baal was founded in 2005 when Anna Maria Corrado's parents decided to bottle their family's grapes themselves, establishing a production of about 25,000 bottles per year. Behind it lies a long family history, but the bottled project is recent and explicitly founded on respect for the land and the continuity of inherited values. The five denominations outline a compact Campanian geography: Cilento DOP for extra virgin olive oil, Cilento DOC and Castel San Lorenzo DOC for wines, in addition to the Paestum and Colli di Salerno IGT indications, all based on indigenous grape varieties such as Aglianico, Piedirosso, and Barbera. Oil and wine coexist in the same winery as two facets of the same territory. Visits are possible by reservation, with tastings customizable according to the guests' preferences: a preliminary phone call is recommended to create a tailored journey through the estate's labels.
