Azienda Agricola Chiusa Piccola F.do Badessa di CORRADINA IGNOGNA

Azienda Agricola Chiusa Piccola is located in the Limone di Siracusa IGP area, ten municipalities overlooking the southeastern coast of Sicily. Here, Corradina Ignogna cultivates the Femminello group varieties, those recognized by the production specifications as characteristic of the protected denomination. The rhythm of the year is marked by three harvests, which are also three facets of the same fruit: Primofiore in spring, Bianchetto in autumn, and Verdello in winter. Each cycle yields lemons calibrated to their specific ripeness level, but all sharing the juiciness that is the signature of the Syracuse lemon. This succession extends the season and ensures continuous quality, maintaining consistent size and yield throughout the entire production cycle. From this work comes a citrus fruit that carries with it the maritime climate and the light of southeastern Sicily, recognizable by its pulp and aroma.
