Azienda Agricola Le Terrazze

In Berzo Demo, on the slopes descending towards the Brescia valley floor, Azienda Agricola Le Terrazze operates within the boundaries of IGT Valcamonica, a denomination encompassing twenty-four municipalities along the Alpine axis. The varietal selection speaks more of latitude than trend: Riesling Renano, Incrocio Manzoni, and Müller Thurgau, grapes that find acidic tension and aromatic definition in cold altitudes that are difficult to achieve elsewhere in Lombardy. Terracing here is not a mere landscape detail but the very method of cultivation: each step carved into the slope demands manual labor and contained yields, and this is reflected in the wines. Whites, reds, and passiti start from a minimum alcohol content of 11.5°, but the distinctive mark remains minerality, a direct result of the soils and the mountain's thermal excursion. Le Terrazze interprets Valcamonica as a territory of precision rather than power, where the Alpine character becomes a legible signature bottle after bottle.
