Baldessari Marco produces in the most recognizable areas of Trentino, navigating a range of seven denominations that cover the entire spectrum of provincial viticulture. From Teroldego Rotaliano, an indigenous grape variety of the alpine foothills, to Trentino DOC which encompasses sixty-nine municipalities, the winery draws from five controlled designations of origin—including Casteller, Valdadige, and the sparkling Trento—flanked by two broader geographical indications, Vallagarina and Vigneti delle Dolomiti. This chessboard of terroirs allows for working with very different varieties: reds from Merlot and Lagrein, whites from Chardonnay and Sauvignon, each placed where the denomination and soil require it. The winemaker adheres to the integrated production protocols verified by the Consorzio Vini del Trentino, so that the individual vision is grafted onto the collective quality systems characteristic of the region. The result is a profile that brings together a personal signature and the shared grammar of the mountains, from the single alpine vineyard to the broader indications.
