Founded in 1972 in Santo Stefano Belbo, Cesare Pavese's birthplace, Beppe Marino translates the Langhe landscape into structured, unpretentious wines. Since 2016, production has been housed in an ancient monastery, where targeted winemaking practices accommodate the character of each variety rather than homogenizing it. The four denominations outline the territory's hierarchy. At the base, Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba and Dogliani DOCG, both from indigenous grape varieties, yield immediate, finely textured reds; at the pinnacle, Barbaresco and Barolo DOCG showcase Nebbiolo in its most austere and long-lived expression.
