In the hills of Neviglie, in the Cuneo area, Bera Di Bera Valter cultivates vineyards where the family has rooted its work for generations. The decisive shift came in the 1970s, with the abandonment of bulk grape sales in favor of independent winemaking, and with Moscato chosen as a mark of identity. Since then, the reference has been a single denomination, Asti DOCG, interpreted in its full breadth. From the Langa hills, Valter produces Asti in all three permitted styles—still white, sparkling, and classic method—enhancing the aromatic character of Piedmontese white grape varieties. This choice concentrates the variety of work under a single designation, shifting the emphasis from the number of denominations to their interpretation.
