Bertoletta
Bertoletta cultivates Turbiana within the five Veronese municipalities of the Lugana DOC area, where this native white grape finds its ideal soil. Rooted in Villafranca, the winery neither forces nor aromatizes: it builds its profile on the minerality and white fruit aromas that the soil yields, complementing Turbiana with other non-aromatic white varieties. The choice is to interpret the terroir with clarity, without seeking stylistic shortcuts. The production range is articulated across three levels of intensity within the same denomination. There is the reference white, immediate and taut; the superiore, broader and more structured; and the riserva, aged in wood to gain depth and breadth. All share a minimum alcohol content of 11% and a consistent interpretation of the place, expressed in progression rather than in contrasting styles. It is an interpretation that prioritizes varietal coherence, measuring Lugana by Turbiana's ability to precisely express the territory, wine after wine.
