Borghesana Azienda Vitivinicola di Fariselli Armanda

Castell'Arquato · Province of Piacenza · Emilia-Romagna

Val Tidone IGT

In Castell'Arquato, in the Piacenza hills, Borghesana operates within the Val Tidone IGT, an area spanning nine municipalities in Emilia-Romagna. The perimeter is compact and recognizable, and on this scale, Fariselli Armanda's project builds a coherent catalog. The core consists of two aromatic local whites, Malvasia bianca and Moscato bianco, which define the valley's identity with their fragrant profiles. Around these are structured reds and fresh sparkling wines, following the Emilian logic that alternates immediate drinking with wines meant for aging. Each label refers to a precise terroir, that of a valley that focuses not on extension but on distinctiveness. It is a viticulture that treats small scale as an advantage: knowing every parcel, calibrating every harvest. In the glass, the result speaks less of the producer's hand and more of the character of a strip of the Piacenza hills, where precision and continuity matter more than quantity.
