In Barolo, where the hills of Cannubi and Brunate meet, Borgogno Francesco winery exclusively vinifies grapes from its own vineyards, with the cru delle Brunate di La Morra serving as a benchmark. The estate has been family-run for three generations: today, Giancarlo and Claudio, Francesco's sons, along with Silvia, oversee every stage of the work, starting from the vineyard, following simple, environmentally conscious production rules. The four denominations, all DOCG, reveal two souls of the Langa. On one side, the great Nebbiolo reds, Barolo and Barbaresco, built on structure and time; on the other, the more immediate and fragrant character of Dolcetto, expressed in Dogliani and Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba. The result is a portfolio that combines longevity with everyday enjoyment, always adhering to the strict regulations of their respective disciplinari.
