BREMA Azienda Agricola

From Incisa Scapaccino, in the Asti area, BREMA oversees three Piedmontese DOCG denominations that delineate very different geographies. Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato confines its namesake grape to just seven municipalities; Terre Alfieri embraces eleven and offers two souls, Arneis as a white and Nebbiolo as a red; Barbera d'Asti, on the other hand, extends across 165 municipalities, with a minimum aging of four months setting its threshold. Moving between these three perimeters is not dispersion but method. Each denomination imposes a grape variety, an area, and a rule, and the company's presence across all three speaks to a focus on varietal precision rather than catalog breadth. It is Piedmont interpreted through its strictest regulations, where the administrative boundary coincides with that of taste, and the scale of the area—seven, eleven, or one hundred and sixty-five municipalities—itself becomes a stylistic signature.
