Barbaresco DOCGBarolo DOCGDogliani DOCG+1

Matteo Cane's vineyard in Narzole overlooks the Cuneo hills where Nebbiolo and Dolcetto find the conditions that define them. The range encompasses four DOCG denominations, distributed between the two cornerstone grape varieties of the Langhe: on one hand, the long-aging reds, and on the other, those for more immediate enjoyment. Barolo and Barbaresco rely on the long maturation times that Nebbiolo requires, with extended aging that builds their complexity; alongside them, Dogliani and Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba offer a more direct and fruity interpretation of the same landscape. Each wine reflects the mineral backbone of the terroir and the balance between the initial promise of the fruit and the maturation that distinguishes this part of Cuneo. It's a range that covers the entire temporal arc of Piedmontese wine, from the readiness of Dolcetto to the patience that great Nebbiolo wines demand from those who produce them and those who, later, await the right moment to open them.
