Cantina Benato di Benato Romeo e C. Soc. Agr. s.s.

On the volcanic hills of the Padua area, in Vo', Cantina Benato works with a single denomination, Colli Euganei Fior d'Arancio DOCG, built around Moscato giallo and other aromatic white grapes that complete its profile. From these grape varieties emerges a range of interpretations, from still wine to sparkling, and even the most concentrated passito, each with at least 10.5% alcohol: a single underlying aroma expressed in different registers of sweetness and pressure. The area encompasses seventeen municipalities on the Euganean slopes, and Benato captures its minerality and soil definition to always keep the character of Moscato in the foreground. It is not an exuberant aromatic for its own sake, but a wine that seeks measure and precision, where the floral component remains anchored to a fresh backbone. In this volcanic corner of Veneto, the winery interprets a niche denomination with the consistency of those who work a single appellation and know it intimately.
