Cantina di Colognola ai Colli

From 7,200 hectares distributed between western Valpolicella and eastern Soave, this Venetian cooperative gathers a geography of exposures and microclimates that a single winery could rarely manage. The strength of the project lies in its synthesis: fragmented expertise brought back to a common standard, where the vineyard ceases to be a mere production site and becomes the foundation of shared work. The repertoire revolves around the pair of guaranteed denomination white wines from Soave, both crafted from Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave. The Superiore tells its dry and territorial story; the Recioto retains its sweet vocation, obtained through appassimento, completing the expressive circle of the same grape variety. Two interpretations of the same land, each shaped by the specific soils and altitudes from which the grapes originate. The result is a profile that prioritizes consistency over spectacularity, a measure of a cooperative that interprets quality as the outcome of a shared method, rather than an exceptional single vineyard.
