Cantina La-Vis

Overlooking the banks of the Avisio river in Lavis, Cantina La-Vis is a cooperative that has been interpreting the biodiversity of the Trentino territory for over seventy years. Its portfolio is unusually broad: seven denominations ranging from regional DOCs—Trentino, Casteller, Valdadige—to Teroldego Rotaliano, the symbolic red of the Rotaliana plain, up to the sparkling wines of Trento DOC and broader-reaching IGTs like Vallagarina and Vigneti delle Dolomiti. This breadth reflects a precise choice: to interpret the alpine arc through many lenses, from the valley floor to the cooler slopes, without flattening the differences into a single stylistic signature. The result is crisp whites, territorial reds, and mountain sparkling wines, each linked to a specific portion of the landscape. The winery is open to the public: guided tours lead through the vats and tanks where these expressions take shape.
