Cantina Pietrovecchio

The Pietrovecchio family's first vineyards date back to the 1880s in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, when Giovanni and Natale worked leased land before establishing their own winery. Generation after generation, the family acquired neighboring vineyards, solidifying a business firmly tied to Prosecco DOCG di Conegliano Valdobbiadene: a single disciplinary, but the most prestigious of Veneto's sparkling hills. The volcanic slopes impart their mineral imprint to the white wines, found in the still, frizzante, and spumante wines made from Glera, alongside Verdiso and other native grape varieties. Today, the cellar door is open: those who venture up here can taste the wines directly on the slopes where they are born and discover, glass after glass, how soil and exposure shape the character of each bottle.
