Cantina Sociale di Gonzaga

Founded in 1928, Cantina Sociale di Gonzaga presides over the Lambrusco landscape in the Mantuan plain, a land where sparkling red wine reigns supreme. The cooperative vinifies Lambrusco Mantovano DOC from indigenous grape varieties like Viadanese and Grasparossa, producing wines with a dense color and lively bubbles, designed for the region's everyday table. The range extends beyond sparkling wines. In addition to Garda Colli Mantovani DOC, which brings white wines to the portfolio, two IGTs, Provincia di Mantova and Quistello, are included, creating a total of four denominations that cover different styles and vintages. This is the typical assortment of a social winery, capable of collecting grapes from many contributors and interpreting them according to various regulations. Visitors passing through Gonzaga can stop at the winery for a tasting and a guided tour, experiencing firsthand the connection between the cooperative and the agricultural community.
