Cantine dei Colli Berici

Based in Lonigo, in the Vicenza area, Cantine dei Colli Berici manages a network of seven thousand two hundred hectares stretching from Valpolicella to the Po Valley plain. Across this expanse, which traverses diverse soils and microclimates of Veneto, ripens the winery's sole denomination: Delle Venezie DOC, cultivated with Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Garganega. The scale of the project is also its theme. From hillside exposures to vast plains, the multiplicity of terroirs becomes raw material to be translated into the bottle, and the winery converts it into whites, rosés, and the coppery version particularly suited to Pinot Grigio. Each wine carries the specific pedoclimatic characteristics of its origin, so that the breadth of the vineyards results not in uniformity but in a range of nuances. Delle Venezie, viewed at this scale, ceases to be a generic label and becomes the synthesis of an extended territory, where soil variation dictates the character of each batch.
