Cantine di Verona
Sommacampagna · Province of Verona · Veneto
Cantine di Verona was born from the union of three entities—Valpantena, Custoza, and Colli Morenici—to gather the wines of Garda and the Veronese hills under a single name. The cooperative structure brings generations of viticultural work into the cellar, from the lake to the morainic slopes that surround it. The three protected denominations revolve around the whites of the Garda area. Custoza DOC interweaves Garganega, Trebbiano, and Cortese in multiple versions, while the broader Garda appellation—expressed as both DOC and Garda DOP—expands the range from dry whites to sparkling wines, extending across seventy-six municipalities. The result is a portrait that combines the specificity of individual terroirs with the variety of the entire area, from vineyards overlooking the water to inland slopes. More than a single label, the producer offers a choral interpretation of the Veronese landscape, where each denomination oversees a different portion of the territory and a distinct stylistic register. The whole remains faithful to an idea of a plural Garda, made of nuances rather than a single profile.
