Cantine Volpetti

Cantine Volpetti operates in Monte Porzio Catone, within the boundaries of the Roma DOC, a broad denomination encompassing sixty-four municipalities. The range of red grape varieties is the winery's true hunting ground: Cesanese comune and Cesanese di Affile form its soul, while Montepulciano, Sangiovese, and selected Cabernet varieties add depth and versatility to a single denomination expressed in multiple directions. On the white wine front, including the amiable riserve, the other face of this Lazio terroir emerges, capable of fruity and soft profiles alongside the more austere texture of the reds. Each vintage thus becomes an exercise in balance, where the character of the place—hilly, volcanic, close to the city—is held together with a sought-after structural complexity, glass after glass. The result is an interpretation of a single name, Roma, rendered through different chromatic registers.
