CARLUCCI DOMENICO

Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCGCònero DOCGVerdicchio di Matelica Riserva DOCG+1

Carlucci Domenico works across four Marche DOCG denominations, distributed between white and red. The cornerstone is Verdicchio, offered in two versions—Matelica and Castelli di Jesi—both subjected to eighteen months of aging to reach a minimum of 12.5% vol. On the red front, Montepulciano and Sangiovese converge in Cònero, where an additional twenty-four months of aging precede release. Completing the picture is Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, made from indigenous black grapes transformed into sparkling and still red wine, a rare denomination confined to just three municipalities. Bringing together four such diverse denominations—two Verdicchio riserva, a structured red, and a unique sparkling wine method—means navigating distinct terroirs and cellar times. It's a portfolio that rejects specialization in a single wine, choosing instead to explore the most characteristic expressions of the Marche, from taut and long-lived whites to reds for long aging, and even the oenological curiosity of Vernaccia.
