Carpineto
Greve in Chianti · Province of Firenze · Toscana
Founded in 1967 in Dudda, a hamlet of Greve in Chianti, Carpineto has expanded over time to encompass more than three hundred hectares distributed across Tuscany's most prestigious areas. Five estates, three production lines, and over thirty labels form a broad company geography, with Brunello di Montalcino DOCG representing its pinnacle: pure Sangiovese, aged for at least forty-eight months and with an alcohol content of no less than 12.5%. The production model balances scale with attention to terroir, with vineyards managed according to carbon-neutral practices. Each estate contributes its unique soil imprint, so that the different lines tell the story of various portions of wine-producing Tuscany. The winery opens its doors to visitors for tastings accompanied by local gastronomic products: a stop in Dudda allows one to appreciate Brunello and the other labels alongside the flavors that surround them, verifying on-site the coherence between the glass and the landscape.
