Casa Terriera

In Conegliano, Casa Terriera bears the name of the noble family who first inhabited its walls, and today sees Pier Luigi Sossai joined by his daughters Francesca and Alessandra. On the hills of Prosecco Superiore, winemaking knowledge accumulated over generations has become tangible production: Glera-based sparkling wines, offered in Brut and Extra Dry versions. The Conegliano Valdobbiadene denomination here encapsulates its finest identity, that of the steep slopes where Glera does not work alone. It is joined by the territory's minor grape varieties—Verdiso, Bianchetta trevigiana, Perera—which impart nuances to the bottles that the main grape alone would not convey. The result is a sparkling wine that declares its Valdobbiadene origin not as a label but as a distinctive taste profile, a fruit of the bond between the family and the slopes they cultivate. Each bottle thus becomes a compendium of a vertical landscape, interpreted through the method and memory of those who work it.
