CASCINA DEL POZZO s.s.a

Barbaresco DOCGBarolo DOCGDogliani DOCG+1

In Roero, the Marchisio family has cultivated vineyards for five generations, since the early 1900s, and that continuity takes shape in four denominations, all DOCG. Two are based on Nebbiolo from the Langhe, Barolo and Barbaresco, with the former requiring thirty-eight months of aging before reaching the glass; the other two, Dogliani and Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba, instead offer the more direct and fragrant character of Dolcetto. Bringing these four wines together is not a catalog operation but a portrait of a territory that changes altitude and soil from hill to hill, around Castellinaldo. The very name of the estate refers to the vineyard that forms its foundation, the one where it all began and to which the work continues to refer. The same hand is evident in every label: the aging time as a measure of respect for the grape, and the knowledge accumulated from generation to generation translated, without shortcuts, into the bottle.
