CASCINA DELLE ROCCHE DI MONCUCCO di D.C.

Barbera d'Asti DOCGRuchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCGTerre Alfieri DOCG

Among the hills stretching from Asti towards Alessandria, Cascina delle Rocche di Moncucco works exclusively within the DOCG category, with three Piedmontese denominations that form a coherent portfolio. Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato entrusts an indigenous grape variety, brought to at least 12.5 percent alcohol, with elegant red wines; Terre Alfieri, spread across eleven municipalities, opens to a dual register, with white Arneis wines and red Nebbiolo wines. The third denomination, Barbera d'Asti, completes the picture with dark-fruited offerings aged for a mandatory four months, that minimum time which defines its character. Each label responds to a distinct terroir and varietal profile, yet the three coexist under the same productive hand without blending. It is the portrait of an estate that does not pursue the breadth of a catalog but the precision of its choices, moving among grape varieties and areas that Monferrato has made recognizable over time.
