Cascina Lanzarotti

Since 1883, Cascina Lanzarotti has overseen the Roero hills from an elevated position surrounded by vineyards and orchards, where a family-run operation continues its work. The Roero DOCG denomination allows for diverse styles: Nebbiolo reds, Arneis whites, and sparkling wines, all called upon to express the area's mineral character. Aging, no less than twenty months, guarantees structure and depth for the wines. Beyond the bottles, there's a way of understanding the vineyard as a living environment. Among the rows, birdhouses built from recycled materials are placed, a sign of attention to biodiversity linked to inclusive projects. This choice complements the agronomic work without replacing it, rooting the winery in its landscape. The cascina welcomes visitors from Monday to Saturday: ascending to the Roero hilltop allows one to appreciate the vineyards, orchards, and the family's environmental care, by booking a weekday visit.
