Casetta Fornel

On the morainic hills of Custoza, in Sona, Casetta Fornel cultivates sixteen hectares overlooking Monte Baldo and Lake Garda. The rows alternate the white grapes of the production specifications—`Garganega`, `Cortese`, and `Trebbiano Toscano`—with red varieties like `Corvina` and `Merlot`, in a mosaic that reflects the frontier nature of this Veronese strip, where the lake's influence tempers the seasons. All production revolves around the `Custoza DOC` denomination, offered in white, superiore, and riserva versions, always exceeding eleven degrees of alcohol. It's a range that starts with immediate freshness and progresses to more intense and long-lived expressions, without ever losing the character of the morainic soil.
