In 1965, when Chianti's agriculture faced economic and technical collapse, visionary leadership transformed 17 small growers into a unified force. Today, 120 member producers across the Chianti Classico zone channel their Sangiovese and complementary red varieties through a modern cellar that captures the terroir of Montespertoli and beyond. The collective model proved prescient: pooling resources and knowledge where individual estates faced obsolescence.
