Castellinuzza e Piuca produces Chianti Classico from vineyards in Greve, steps from Florence in the foothills near Lamole—terrain designated as a historic landscape in 2018. The Coccia family has stewarded this estate since 1962, when they acquired land where they had worked as sharecroppers since 1908. Born in 1985 from the original holding, this direct-cultivation venture blends Sangiovese and other red varietals suited to Tuscany into wines that exceed 12% alcohol. Visitors discover both vineyard and agriturismo hospitality.
