Castello di Magione

On the slopes above Lake Trasimeno, Castello di Magione traces its roots to the Knights Hospitaller, an order that planted vines alongside spiritual devotion. Today, six wines—three whites and three reds—emerge from the castle's cellars, where ancient brick vaults shelter oak and barriques at 250–350 metres altitude. Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, and Merlot speak through Colli del Trasimeno DOC, each vintage reflecting the Umbrian terroir that has sustained this estate for centuries.
