Castello di Valenzano

Subbiano · Province of Arezzo · Toscana

Toscano IGT

Castello di Valenzano rises above Subbiano in the Arezzo hills, its towers anchored to medieval foundations that predate the 10th century. Once a longobard watchtower—and centuries before that, possibly a salt-route outpost in Etruscan times—the fortress evolved into a wine estate commanding the terroir of Toscano IGT. Today it crafts Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano and Canaiolo Nero in white, red and rosé expressions, each rooted in the Tuscan microclimates that shaped its fortified past.
