In 1959, Giovanni Troiani left sharecropping in the Marche and chose the hills around San Gimignano to plant roots. What began as a small podere gradually transformed: mixed farming gave way to wine production, the land revealing its calling for Vernaccia. Today, Fontaleoni crafts this white DOCG with the focus of a third-generation family estate, where terroir and patience converge in the glass.
