Giarola's vineyard story began in a modest cellar beneath Umberto Giarola's house, where bulk wine and oak-aged reserves quietly matured. Over a century of family stewardship has transformed that intimate operation into a substantial estate, refined through systematic investment in cultivation techniques and production methods. Today, the winery produces Custoza DOC whites—crafted from Garganega, Cortese, and Trebbiano Toscano—across standard, superiore, and riserva expressions, each capturing the limestone-marked terroir of the nine-municipality zone. Visitors and tasters are warmly welcomed at the wine shop to experience firsthand how tradition and methodical innovation converge in each bottle.
