Isole e Olena

In the 1950s, Isole e Olena comprised two separate Chianti villages a kilometre apart, with 130 inhabitants practising subsistence farming and mixed production including wine. Today, the estate operates from Barberino Tavarnelle in Florence province, crafting Toscano IGT wines—Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano, and Canaiolo Nero—across red, white, and rosé styles. Rooted in manual viticulture and artisanal winemaking, the producer maintains dialogue with its land through terraced vineyards and deliberate cellar choices, welcoming visitors for tastings year-round.
