Orti dei Monti is a cooperative grower of Patata della Sila IGP, the protected potato from Calabria's Sila plateau. Working across 24 municipalities at elevation, members cultivate a variety prized for its high dry-matter content—ideal for frying and robust winter storage without chemical treatment. The cooperative channels the mountain terroir into a staple crop that bridges traditional farming with modern protected-origin standards.
