Orzan

Orzan has tended vines on Collio's slopes since 1964, when Ivaldo Orzan reclaimed his grandfather's historic vineyard and began crafting wines by hand. The estate's signature Friulano "UNA GNOT" follows a single-night maceration method—a technique unchanged since the 1960s—yielding a structured wine that foregrounds the variety's defining character. Today, Orzan balances this heritage approach with softer-press whites and selective skin contact, producing Collio Goriziano DOC wines that honour both tradition and terroir.
