Patruno Perniola operates in Gioia del Colle, the Puglian stronghold of Primitivo, where vines flourish in the red earth at 350 metres altitude. The estate traces its lineage to the 1800s, stewarding a grape classified by 18th-century Benedictine monk Filippo Indelicati. Hand-harvested fruit undergoes careful vinification to unlock the mineral signature embedded in rocky soil, yielding structured reds, crisp whites and elegant rosés that honour both local tradition and celebration.
